Cris Contini Contemporary presents Adult Games, the work of the Venetian artist Michele Tombolini: a creation, emblem of the artist's poetics, on display in the prestigious Venice Times Hotel in Venice.
A unique work that portrays the face of a little girl on whose mouth a butterfly was first traced, subsequently erased through a childish scribble. The message that the artist wants to convey is powerful and with a strong social value, it is a message of denunciation against the trafficking of minors, a topic to which Michele Tombolini has already dedicated other important works in Europe.
In fact, the butterfly, a symbol of rebirth and freedom, a push towards a better future is canceled and the girl's mouth remains closed, unable to scream about her situation. The background of the work, created with a mixed technique, is instead illuminated by the choice of the gold color of the flowers which also touches the face of the young woman portrayed and which represents a message of hope.
